Meet the Doctors

Dr. Bethany Fishbein and Dr. Jonathan Fishbein are both optometrists who have extensive experience in working with the visually impaired. They graduated from New England College of Optometry in 1997. Dr. Jonathan Fishbein completed a residency at the William Feinbloom Vision Rehabilitation Center in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Bethany Fishbein trained at the Eastern Blind Rehabilitation Center in West Haven, CT, and has worked as a consultant to the staff at Camp Marcella, the New Jersey State Camp for Blind Children. Both doctors are panel members of the New Jersey Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired, and have volunteered for several years with the Special Olympics Opening Eyes program.

Both doctors are committed to helping their patients use their remaining vision as effectively and comfortably as possible. They utilize the latest technology to create solutions for their patients with vision impairments, and can often customize devices to meet the unique needs of a particular patient.
